Paola Annoni Patel, D.D.S.

Dr. Patel is the newest addition to our office. She graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2015. Since finishing dental school she has actively pursued a range of continuing education opportunities, seeking to learn from the leading researchers and practitioners in the field. She has completed coursework through DOCS Sedation Education and the American Institute of Implant Dentistry and has taken a variety of courses through professional organizations, always looking for new ways to learn and expand her dental knowledge.

In her own words:

“The work I do impacts all aspects of my patients’ daily lives: whether I am getting someone out of immediate pain, educating a person about their oral and systemic health, or giving a person the ability to smile with confidence, I come into the office excited about the day ahead!

“I truly enjoy being on the same team as my patients. Rather than dictating treatment, we work together to find solutions. Once I have educated a patient about their conditions, explaining what I’ve found in their exam and through diagnostic imaging, we discuss treatment options and decide, together, how to proceed. In doing so, we fix the issues that are present and are able to prevent future problems. Seeing each person’s improvement in oral and overall health, from visit to visit, is extremely rewarding.

“Through continuing education, I ensure my patients always receive the most up-to-date, complete treatment options and achieve their healthiest, most confidently beautiful smiles. My ultimate goal is to give people the tools, resources, and comfort to smile with confidence. I’m grateful for a profession that gives me the ability to help people in such a wonderful way.”
